Join ENTRE at the McAllen Public Library for Cine sin Cámara, a workshop where participants make a camera-less film!

Cine sin Cámara is an community experimental filmmaking workshop aimed at supporting participants of all ages to create a short film by directly manipulating 16mm celluloid film with sharpies, markers, toothbrushes, sponges, paper clips, and more!

At the end of the workshop, we will screen everyone's film on a 16mm projector!

Walk-ins are welcome, but we encourage folks to be present for the entire duration of the workshop to have enough time to create their films.

This workshop is free and open to people of all ages. Families are welcome! Bilingual instruction will be available.

Cine sin cámara es un taller comunitario de cine experimental dirigido a participantes de todas las edades, donde crean un cortometraje manipulando directamente película de celuloide de 16 mm con rotuladores, marcadores, cepillos de dientes, esponjas, clips y otros materiales.

¡Al finalizar el taller, proyectaremos las películas de todos en un proyector de 16 mm!

Se aceptan personas sin cita previa, pero recomendamos asistir durante toda la duración del taller para disponer de tiempo suficiente para crear sus películas.

Este taller es gratuito y está abierto a personas de todas las edades. ¡Las familias son bienvenidas! Se ofrecerá instrucción bilingüe.
