Upon reflecting on our collaboration with TAMI, the idea of a moving image ofrenda came to mind as a way to activate the home movie collections we were to inherit.

We had THE BEST time this past weekend facilitating a direct animation workshop with the lovely folks at Laredo Film Society! Participants learned about celluloid, the history of direct animated films, various animation and abstraction techniques (some invented their own!)...
