Frutas del Valle is a collective of dykes, lesbianas, trans, non-binary, and queer frutas rooted in the Rio Grande Valley, a region along the U.S.-Mexico border.

We are a collective centered around community healing, queer liberation, and cultural pride through mutual aid, creative expression, diy archiving, and grassroots organizing and educational workshops.

Our mission is to fight against colonial structures of oppression as well as reclaim queer joy in the borderlands.

We emerged in response to the pink-washing of pride and the need for more dyke, lesbian, jota, marimacha, and radical queer spaces. We believe that pride + queerness are more than just rainbows--it is a call to action.
