Join Valley AIDS Council & ENTRE for a screening of Philadelphia (1993), a film that helped bring national attention to the AIDS crisis. The event will include a pre- and post-film discussion focused on HIV awareness, stigma, and community education.

Philadelphia tells the powerful story of a young lawyer who is forced to hide his sexuality and AIDS diagnosis (now referred to as HIV Stage 3) from his prestigious law firm. When his secret is discovered, he is wrongfully terminated—leading to a landmark lawsuit that confronts stigma, discrimination, and injustice.
